Caunton gains IIP Accreditation for the Nineteenth Year

The organisation Investors in People was set up in 1991 and has set the standard for better people management. The internationally recognized accreditation is held by 14,000 organisations across the world. The IIP Standard defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people well for sustainable results. The Standard explores practices and outcomes within an organisation under three performance headings: leading, supporting and improving.

Caunton Engineering was first recognised as an IIP company in 1998 and is currently recognised with the Standard at Core Level. Caunton’s management feel the IIP standard provides a model for supporting their people strategy and future developments. Based on 25 years of leading practice, the Investors in People Standard is underpinned by a rigorous assessment methodology and a framework which reflects the very latest workplace trends, essential skills and effective structures required to outperform in any industry. This rigorous assessment was carried out recently at the Moorgreen facility of Caunton Engineering.
Caunton “passed” with flying colours. This will help the Senior Management Team of the company to gain a more objective view of what people really think, and provide a clear roadmap to support business improvement.

The next review is due in November 2019. This gives Caunton’s management ample time to continue its impressive record in human resources development.
