Caunton Engineering have been pleased to have been awarded the contract by Winvic Construction to supply the structural steelwork for a new Logistics Centre for Stanley Black & Decker. This will expand the United Kingdom operations of this market-leading tools company.

The new facility is being developed a short distance from Stanley Black & Decker’s existing centre on Brackmills Industrial Estate. The developer is Warwick-based First Industrial, The site is, of course, right at the heart of the UK’s logistics network.

Caunton are designing, and then supplying, over one thousand tonnes of structural steelwork for a 235,000 sq. ft. warehouse, and 18,000 sq. ft. of office space. The framing for the large warehouse comprises a four-span portal. Caunton are delighted to be of service to such a renowned household-name company, as it expands its operations.
