Caunton’s Steelwork Erection starts on a building to deliver industry and government-backed research and development projects focused on decarbonising glass production.

The press reports that working on behalf of main contractor Bowmer + Kirkland, Caunton Engineering has started the steel erection programme for the Glass Futures scheme in St Helens, the town generally known as our “home of glass”.
The 15,300m2 transformational global glass research and innovation facility is expected to complete in January 2023, ready for internal fit-out.
