New Steel Construction reports on Chancellor Rishi Sunak’s visit to Caunton Engineering’s works in their May publication. Mr Sunak was particularly interested in how recruits are trained, and he was to hold an informal meeting with eight current and past Caunton apprentices, to learn from their experiences. He supplemented this by being given his own practical training in steel fabrication – see the photo.
