Caunton Engineering have recently attended the University of Nottingham to assist 4th year MEng Civil Engineering students.

The Advanced Structural Design module, led and supervised by Dr Walid Tizani, involves a major group project. This year, the project brief is to design a new airport terminal. Caunton Technical Manager, Gavin Christie and Structural Engineer, Adam Jameson, presented a guest lecture, discussing practical considerations for steelwork design. After presenting the guest lecture, a workshop was held, providing opportunity to meet the students and offer advice for their group project.
