Caunton Engineering would like to congratulate Winvic Construction on being shortlisted twice at the inaugural ESG Edge Awards - particularly as one of the awards is for a project Caunton supplied the steelwork for.

This project, with steelwork by Caunton, is Winvic's Plot 5 at the SEGRO Logistics Park East Midlands Gateway project and has been recognised for its outstanding sustainability. This 600,217sq.ft facility showcases Winvic's commitment to Net Zero in construction with a 39% reduction in up-front embodied carbon emission - this was thanks to the innovative materials and on-site activities. The project also engaged the community with mentorships, local employment and significant investments made in the local area.

Caunton are very proud to have made their own contribution to this sustainable project.
