The recent BCSA (British Constructional Steelwork Association) webinar on the performance of steel in fire, featured real-world examples. One example was the fire testing in 1993 held at Cardington on steelwork supplied to client, Steel Construction Institute (SCI) by Caunton Engineering and designed by Peter Brett. The webinar is now available on YouTube.

It was particularly interesting to Robert Weeden, Caunton's Technical Director, who is pleased to say: Cardington was "one of the projects I had privilege of working on early in my career with Caunton. Proud to have been part of such an important research project."
