Caunton Engineering is working on the new-build and refurbishment of the Vancouver Shopping Centre in Kings Lynn. This is situated within the sensitive and historic environment of this famous city.

The client Caddick Developments, together with their architects Comprehensive Design, have a brief to update the 60's shopping centre and Caunton are supplying over 1000te of steelwork to that end. The photograph shows part of the new steelwork for the White Young Green -designed framing of new shops which contractor Alfred McAlpine Capital Projects is constructing. Caunton's own directly employed erection team are aware of the sensitivity working so close to a live shopping environment where attention to safety is paramount. Their experience in this is most valuable.
