Caunton Engineering designed, supplied and erected over 600 tonnes of beam and column structural steelwork for this four storey office complex named Regent Point. Interestingly, this 100,000sq. feet development is designed to achieve an impressive and valuable BREEAM rating of ‘excellent’.
The building itself is a superb example of a gateway office building with a fine fully glazed atrium as the photograph shows. It is located at the entrance of the already well-established Regent Centre .The client argues that Regent Point offers occupiers a prestigious and contemporary environment without city centre costs and congestion.
Caunton have been working for main contractor Bowmer and Kirkland on this project, and the two companies’ contribution has helped increase office space at the Regent Centre to over one million square feet.
