Working on behalf of main contractor, Bowmer and Kirkland, Caunton Engineering were awarded the contract to supply the main and secondary steelwork for a 507,713sq.ft warehouse on Plot D2 of Infinity Park, Derby.
Infinity Park underwent a transformative development spanning 87 hectares and encompassed a diverse array of units, which totalled an impressive 1,799,000sq.ft. The project included facilities for storage and distribution, general and light industrial purposes, research and development, associated office spaces, a hotel, public house and a cafe.
Caunton supplied 1,693 tonnes of main and secondary steelwork for the five span structure, which included an office framework.
The building achieved BREEAM 'Very Good' and an EPC 'A' rating, which underscored Infinity Park, Derby's dedication to a sustainable and environmentally conscious development.
