Caunton Engineering played a pivotal role in the net zero carbon Greenbox development in Darlington, supplying, fabricating and erecting 1,459 tonnes of structural steelwork, on behalf of main contractor, Winvic Construction.
Spanning 24-acres, the site features three speculative industrial facilities with a combine total of 37,300m² of space. Each unit also included an office space.
The Greenbox development was designed to achieve both BREEAM 'Excellent' and an EPC A rating.
