Caunton Engineering supplied the steelwork for four warehouses of 30,000 square metres floor area at Atlantic Park, Liverpool, for main contractor, Winvic Construction.

The 52 acres Atlantic Park was on the former site of the Rolls-Royce engineering works factory. The four industrial warehouse units are 3,700m², 4,640m², 10,200m² and 11,600m² and each comprised of a two-storey office space.

The scheme has been designed in accordance with Royal London's Sustainability Strategy, which aims for new build property developments to achieve net zero by 2030.

Winvic delivered the project as net zero carbon in construction, aiming for BREEAM 'Excellent' and an EPC 'A' rating.
