Caunton Engineering was appointed by Wilten Construction to deliver the structural steelwork package for a new Manufacturing Facility at Gateway 14, Stowmarket. The project was developed for Turkish-owned sandwich panel manufacturer, Assan Panel.

Caunton’s scope of works included the design, supply, and erection of a twin-span portal frame incorporating integrated crane beams, along with the structural framing to the external two-storey office block.

This project represented a return to Gateway 14 for Caunton Engineering, following the successful delivery of over 3,000 tonnes of structural steelwork for The Range’s warehouse, located almost directly opposite the Assan Panel facility, further demonstrating Caunton’s experience and established presence on the site.
