Undergraduate and Graduate Training

Graduate Training

Being a dedicated Investor in People Caunton recognises the importance of bringing graduates in to our team and each year we aim to recruit new graduates into various business disciplines.

The graduate programme is supervised and mentored by a Chartered Civil Engineer, and is appraised by the Institution of Civil Engineers, which thereby gives the opportunity to work towards chartered membership of the ICE and IStructE.

The graduate first completes an in-house training programme that covers all the processes in the company. Graduates are then assigned to one of our departments. Graduates can expect to be working on live projects within a few months. Each graduate also attends internal/external training courses and seminars to enhance their knowledge. Transition from graduate to structural engineer tends to be around 3 to 5 years.

If you are a Civil BEng or MEng undergraduate, have good communication skills, can work well in a team and feel capable of contributing to Caunton's established reputation for quality and service then please contact our Human Resources Department
