“Steel for Life” is the dynamic campaign by the British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) to promote the features and benefits of structural steelwork. It has just launched its first e-newsletter, targeting Chartered Members of the Institution of Structural Engineers. An excellent initiative, Caunton believes. The e-newsletter includes a Project Focus section, and the first project to be included is one by Caunton- The Range at Bristol - a 1.25 million square feet distribution centre and reportedly the largest building in the South West of England. The feature also includes an explanation, by the SCI using this project as an example, of current portal frame technology. Caunton are pleased to have contributed to such a prestigious project.
