Caunton Engineering are very pleased to be appointed once again to supply the steelwork for a development at the Hinckley Park distribution site for Winvic Construction.
Winvic Construction has been appointed by IM Properties to deliver phase three of the Hinckley Park distribution site, with the construction of a speculative 31,500m2 logistics and manufacturing unit. Steelwork for the unit is being fabricated, supplied and erected by Caunton Engineering. The building has a two-storey office space totalling 1,300m2, a 278m2 pod office, a haunch height of 15m, 30 docks, and parking for 305 cars and 54 HGVs.

Winvic will be constructing the BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and EPC A rated unit in line with the UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) and will achieve net zero in construction. For further details on this project , as published in NSC Weekly, please use the following link .

In 2019 Caunton Engineering, which for this project required fabrication by the company’s secondary division, were very pleased to supply the structural steelwork for a 532,000sq.ft. high bay distribution warehouse for major contractor Winvic Construction at the same site.
