Caunton Engineering have completed the steelwork erection for main contractor Winvic Construction of a new 62,000 sq. metre distribution centre for developer Stoford, located in the former Hooton Park Airfield at Ellesmere Port in Merseyside. The building is said to be the biggest single cross-docked warehouse to be developed in the north west during 2022.
An article in the 9th February 2023 edition of New Steel Construction stated that this new distribution centre is targeting the highest level of sustainability certification, such has BREEAM “Outstanding” and an EPC”A” rating.
