Caunton Engineering were very pleased to have supplied the steelwork for three major warehouses at Logicor Park, Daventry, for major Bromsgrove based contractor, Benniman Construction Group.
Client Logicor, a leading owner, manager and developer of European logistics real estate, redeveloped this site to create 800,000sq.ft of modern logistics space across 38.5 acres. This development, known as Logicor Park, Daventry, is located in the midlands area known as the Golden Triangle. This project was set to be Logicor's largest development in the UK.
The development comprises initially of three new warehouses, totalling 800,000sq.ft. These warehouses range in size from 135,000sq.ft to 385sq.ft. Caunton designed, supplied and erected 3,000 tonnes of structural steelwork for this project.
The redevelopment aims to achieve a rating of BREEAM 'Excellent' and an EPC 'A' ratings. It will feature environmental features such as photovoltaic panels, electric vehicle charging points, LED lights and rainwater harvesting.
