Corus held one of their Steel the Show Seminars in August at a conference centre near Nottingham and asked Caunton to report their progress with the Leicester Tigers North Stand. Over 70 consulting engineers, architects and fellow construction professionals had answered the invitation to attend the seminar and Caunton were only too happy to comply. It was particularly timely as only the previous week it was announced that England is to host the 2015 Rugby World Cup and that the Leicester Tigers stadium would be just one of two rugby club grounds to be used. The majority are to be football grounds. Quite a compliment to Leicester Tigers, the country's best supported rugby club, and to the foresight of the club's management.
